ENCORE: Fighting Fraud, Scams AND Dementia

It has been a heartbreaking and exhausting week in our greater community. And for that reason, our Hello Alzheimer's team has decided to share again this poignant conversation. Hello Alzheimer's host Karla Hult talks with Jay Haapala, the Associate State Director, Community Engagement, at AARP Minnesota. Jay's leadership role includes a LOT of outreach related to fraud and scams and how to protect ourselves or our loved ones from falling into a fraudster's trap (while also preserving our overall safety, dignity and independence). 

Lest you think this conversation isn't for you, consider how easy it is for ANY of us -- let alone, those of us living with any form of dementia -- to succumb to the convincing scams communicated by phone, email or other platform. They're everywhere, right?!! And the best way to combat these all-too-familiar fraud and scam schemes is to simply learn more about them.
